The Government of Uganda received additional Financing from the World Bank towards implementation of the Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project-Additional Financing (CEDP-AF). GoU intends to apply part of the CEDP funds towards financing a Tourism Enterprise Support Facility (TESF) to provide matching grants to eligible private sector Tourism enterprises. TESF will support the recovery of eligible tourism enterprises from the effects occasioned by the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and enable them to become more resilient.
